Nicole Reneé Bouffard, a distinguished member of the United States Army Band, embarked on her musical career by earning a master's degree in opera performance from California State University, Northridge. Before her band service, she was a successful opera performer and producer in Los Angeles, where she founded her own opera company.In the Army, Nicole Reneé Bouffard has been a sought-after soloist, frequently performing with the U.S. Army Strings, U.S. Army Chorus, Brass Quintet, Herald Trumpets, and the U.S. Army Band's Annual Twilight Tattoo. Her performances have graced prestigious venues such as the White House, the Capitol, the National Harbor, DAR Constitution Hall, and Virginia Music Educators Association, among others.She has also been a featured soloist for numerous musical and diplomatic performances for the Chief of Staff of the Army, including the annual Holiday celebrations and performances for the visiting Chief of Staff of the Italian Army, Danillo Erico. Nicole Reneé Bouffard has also performed at the Vice President’s Residence for the Tree Lighting Ceremony in 2019.As a member of the Joint Armed Forces Chorus, she has performed for the State Funeral of George H.W. Bush Senior at the National Cathedral, and has sung alongside renowned artists such as Patti LaBelle, Renee Fleming, The Beach Boys, and countless other guest artists.Nicole Reneé Bouffard has sung numerous national anthems at the Pentagon and has been requested to perform at the National Women’s Memorial and for high-ranking officials including the Secretary of the Army, Chief of Staff of the Army, and the Sergeant Major of the Army. She has also sung solo and ensemble anthems for the NFL, Major League Soccer, and other nationally televised sporting events.During the COVID-19 pandemic, Nicole Reneé Bouffard utilized her production skills as a director, producer, and video editor, helping to create the United We Stand video production series. She directed and produced the 2020 Veteran’s Day Program “Salute to Veterans”, the 2020 Memorial Day Program titled, “Memorial Day”, the 2021 Memorial Day Program, “You’ll Never Walk Alone”, the 2020 Army Birthday UWS production “Happy Birthday, Army”, the 1812 Overture Concert, the 2021 Spring Production “Portraits of Courage”, and both the 2020 and 2021 American Holiday Festival video productions, which received a regional Emmy.Since then, Nicole Reneé Bouffard has stepped into the role of Soprano Section Leader for the U.S. Army Chorus and continues to assist and lead in the creation of online and digital content as part of the Public Affairs team for the U.S. Army Band’s Chamber Music Concert Series.Nicole Reneé Bouffard has a rich opera career, including playing the title role of Lucia in Gaetano Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor, Elvira in Vincenzo Bellini's I puritani, Adina in Gaetano Donizett’s, Lucia di Lammermoor, Elvira in Vincenzo Bellini's I puritani, Adina in Gaetano Donizetti's L'elisir d'Amore, Susanna in Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro, Musetta in Giacomo Puccini's La Boheme, Adele in Johann Strauss II's Die Fledermaus, Despina in Mozart's Cosi Fan Tutte and many more. She has performed with numerous opera companies throughout northern and southern California and overseas, including The Palisades Symphony, Tuscia Operafestival in Viterbo, Italy, West Valley Light Opera, The Verdi Chorus, Gilbert and Sullivan Society of San Jose and California State University Northridge.
